QGIS 3.38 Adoption Grows Across UK Council Planning Departments

A growing number of English district councils, including South Cambridgeshire and Wealden District Council, are replacing Esri ArcGIS licences with QGIS 3.38 following budget pressures from the 2024 local government funding settlement. The shift is being coordinated partly through the Local Government Association's digital shared services programme.
