The OSArch open source architecture community has published a new toolkit built on top of FreeCAD and BlenderBIM designed to generate planning application drawings compliant with UK permitted development and local validation requirements. The toolkit, released under the GPL v3 licence, includes templates aligned with the Planning Portal's submission standards and has been welcomed by several small architectural practices unable to afford Autodesk Revit or ArchiCAD licences.
