Kier Group has completed a phased rollout of OpenProject across its infrastructure division, replacing Microsoft Project for portfolio and programme management. The move affects approximately 1,200 project managers and was driven by integration requirements with the firm's existing Linux-based document management environment. Kier reports a 40 percent reduction in per-seat software costs following the migration.
