Nottingham City Council has gone live with ERPNext following an 18-month migration away from Oracle Financials, becoming one of the first English metropolitan authorities to run a fully open source ERP system at scale. The implementation was led by systems integrator Frappe partner Systech IT Solutions and covers procurement, accounts payable, and payroll for approximately 6,000 staff. The council estimates annual savings of £420,000 once legacy support contracts expire next spring.
