Lancashire County Council has completed a phased migration to ERPNext, the open source enterprise resource planning platform, replacing a heavily customised Oracle E-Business Suite installation that had been in place since 2007. The project, delivered over 18 months with systems integrator Systematic Consulting, covers finance, procurement, and HR modules across the authority. Lancashire becomes one of the largest UK local authorities to run a fully open source ERP system in production.
