Homes England has piloted the open source ODK Collect platform for community survey data collection across three estate regeneration projects in the West Midlands, replacing a proprietary mobile forms solution from Esri. The trial, run in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council, collected over 4,200 household responses and fed directly into a QGIS-based needs assessment dashboard. A full rollout across Homes England's land and regeneration portfolio is under consideration pending evaluation results.
