Dorset Council has gone live with ERPNext as part of a wider back-office consolidation programme, replacing legacy finance modules from Capita with the open source ERP platform hosted on a private cloud. The implementation, managed by UK partner Frappe Cloud reseller Systematic Solutions, covers accounts payable, procurement, and asset management. Council officials described the project as a template for other upper-tier authorities seeking cost reductions ahead of government funding settlements.
