A survey by the Royal Institute of British Architects has found that nearly 22 percent of UK architectural visualisation studios now use Blender as their primary rendering tool, up from 9 percent in 2022. Studios cite the elimination of seat-based licensing fees and improving Cycles render quality as key drivers. The trend is particularly pronounced among smaller practices and recent graduates entering the profession.
