The QGIS project has released version 3.38, introducing improved support for IFC file import and direct linkage with BIM workflows. The update includes new point cloud rendering enhancements contributed by Ordnance Survey and a UK local authority consortium led by Greater Manchester Combined Authority. The release is expected to accelerate adoption of open geospatial tooling across highway and planning departments.
