QGIS 3.38 release brings improved CRS handling for UK planners

The QGIS project has released version 3.38, introducing enhanced coordinate reference system handling that significantly benefits users working with British National Grid data. The update includes improved integration with Ordnance Survey's data formats and better rendering performance for large LiDAR datasets. Several UK local planning authorities, including Leeds City Council and Bristol City Council, have already begun rolling out the update to their spatial planning teams.
