Buckinghamshire Council has completed a phased migration of its highways asset management workflows to a platform built on OpenStreetMap and PostGIS, replacing a proprietary Esri solution. The council worked with geospatial consultancy Astun Technology to develop the bespoke integration, which also feeds data into its public-facing transport disruption portal.
