The QGIS project has released version 3.38, introducing enhanced 3D terrain visualisation and improved integration with Ordnance Survey data formats. Several UK local planning authorities, including Leeds City Council and Bristol City Council, have already confirmed plans to adopt the release within their spatial planning workflows. The update also improves support for CityGML, a format increasingly used in urban digital twin projects across the UK.
