OpenStreetMap Data Powers New National Highways Asset Management Platform

National Highways has announced a new road asset management platform built on OpenStreetMap data combined with PostGIS and Apache Superset for analytics. The platform, developed in partnership with Arup, replaces a proprietary system and is expected to reduce data licensing costs by 40 percent. The project has been submitted to OSGeo as a case study for large-scale infrastructure applications.
