Three NHS Integrated Care Boards in the North West of England have standardised on OpenProject for capital programme and estates project management, replacing legacy Microsoft Project licences. The deployment, managed by NHS Shared Business Services, is expected to save the combined organisations around £240,000 over a five-year period. OpenProject's open source community edition is being self-hosted on NHS infrastructure, with a local support contract awarded to Proshore.
