Open source project management platform OpenProject is seeing growing adoption among mid-tier UK construction firms seeking alternatives to Autodesk Construction Cloud and Asite. Consultancy Buro Happold has reportedly piloted OpenProject for coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM workflows on a hospital redevelopment scheme in Leeds. The platform's REST API allows integration with IFC-based model checking tools including open source IfcOpenShell.
