A growing number of mid-sized UK construction contractors are switching from Sage 50 and Sage 200 to the open-source Odoo ERP platform, according to a report from Manchester-based consultancy Ascalia Digital. The shift is being driven by Odoo's integrated project costing, subcontractor management, and purchase order modules, which firms say better reflect construction workflows than generic accounting software. Ascalia estimates UK construction Odoo deployments grew by around 34 percent in the past twelve months.
