Nottingham City Council has selected ERPNext, the open source ERP platform built on the Frappe framework, to replace its ageing Capita Financials system following a competitive procurement process. The deployment, managed by UK-based implementer Agiledrop, will cover purchase-to-pay, general ledger, and asset management modules. Go-live is scheduled for October 2025, with the council citing total cost of ownership savings of over 40 percent compared to comparable proprietary bids.
