NHS Property Services has disclosed that its enterprise Nextcloud deployment, rolled out across 27 regional offices over 18 months, has delivered cumulative licensing savings of over £500,000 per year compared to its previous Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive agreements. The self-hosted implementation, configured and maintained by UK-based open source specialist Collabora, also supports integration with the organisation's AutoCAD and Revit file libraries used by in-house estates and facilities teams. The case study has been submitted to NHS England's open source working group.
