Hampshire County Council has been recognised at the LocalGovTech Awards for its large-scale deployment of Nextcloud as a secure document collaboration platform across over 4,000 staff. The implementation, delivered in partnership with open source consultancy Collabora, replaced a legacy SharePoint environment and reduced cloud storage costs by 40 percent. The council has published its configuration documentation under an open licence for other authorities to reuse.
