The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has awarded funding to a consortium of seven English planning authorities to pilot a standardised planning data pipeline built on Apache Airflow and dbt, aligned with the Planning Data platform schema. Participating authorities include Buckinghamshire Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The project aims to reduce data inconsistencies that currently slow down planning appeals and national housing delivery statistics.
