Lichfield District Council has completed a phased migration from its legacy Civica finance platform to the open source ERPNext system, reducing annual licensing costs by an estimated £180,000. The project, delivered in partnership with UK integrator Frappe UK, took fourteen months and involved retraining over 60 staff. The council says the move gives it greater control over data and future development priorities.
