The Document Foundation has reported a 12 percent year-on-year increase in enterprise support subscriptions for LibreOffice, driven largely by European public sector organisations seeking to reduce dependency on Microsoft 365. Several German Bundesland administrations and at least two UK NHS trusts are cited in the foundation's annual report as new enterprise clients. The foundation attributed growth partly to concerns over cloud data sovereignty.
