Midlands-based civil engineering contractor Tarmac Integrated Services has completed a phased migration to ERPNext, replacing a heavily customised SAP Business One installation used across its project accounting and procurement functions. The 18-month implementation, led by UK ERP consultancy Phambili Solutions, is reported to have reduced per-user licensing costs by 70 percent. The firm plans to contribute several construction-sector modules back to the ERPNext open source community.
