The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has awarded OSGeo UK a £180,000 grant to pilot a standardised open data pipeline for local planning authority datasets across ten English councils, using GeoServer and Apache Airflow. The project aligns with the Planning Data platform operated by MHCLG and aims to reduce the inconsistency of constraint layer data published by district councils. Participating authorities include South Cambridgeshire, Wiltshire, and Leeds City Council.
