Buckinghamshire Council has completed a phased migration of its revenues and benefits processing away from a legacy Capita system, moving core data workflows onto a PostgreSQL and Apache Superset stack developed in partnership with Socitm Advisory. The council estimates annual licensing savings of approximately £340,000. The project is being cited by the Local Government Association as a potential template for smaller unitary authorities seeking to reduce dependency on large proprietary ERP vendors.
