Buckinghamshire Council has gone live with a new digital planning portal built on the open source PlanX platform, developed under the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities' Open Digital Planning programme. The portal allows residents to check planning constraints and submit householder applications online. Buckinghamshire joins Camden and Southwark as early adopters, with the council reporting a 34% reduction in invalid applications since launch.
