Blender Gains Traction in UK Architecture Firms as Visualisation Tool

A survey by NBS has found that 23 percent of UK architecture practices now use Blender for architectural visualisation, up from just 8 percent in 2021. Firms including HawkinsBrown and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios cite the elimination of expensive rendering software licences as a key driver. The open source 3D tool is increasingly being integrated with IFC-based BIM workflows via the BlenderBIM add-on.
