BlenderBIM, the open source IFC-native BIM authoring tool built on Blender, is seeing growing adoption among small and medium-sized UK contractors priced out of Autodesk Revit licences. A survey by NBS found that 18 percent of SME respondents had trialled BlenderBIM in the past 12 months. The OSArch community has released a library of UK-standard construction detail components to accelerate uptake.
