Midlands-based contractor Bowmer and Kirkland has reported significant savings following a full deployment of ERPNext to replace a SAP Business One installation across its finance, procurement, and subcontractor management functions. The open source ERP, customised by Birmingham consultancy Agiletek, went live across fourteen project sites in early 2024. The firm cited lower total cost of ownership and greater flexibility for construction-specific cost coding as primary drivers behind the switch.
