Lichfield District Council has gone live with OpenProject, the open source project management platform, to coordinate its multi-year capital works programme covering highways maintenance and public buildings. The deployment replaces a legacy Microsoft Project Server environment and is expected to save approximately £40,000 annually in licensing costs. The council worked with UK-based integrator Connexion Digital to configure the platform against its existing Active Directory infrastructure.
