Buckinghamshire Council has completed a phased migration of its core finance and procurement functions to ERPNext, becoming one of the first unitary authorities in England to run a fully open source ERP in production. The council reported a 40% reduction in software licensing expenditure compared to its previous Oracle-based system. Implementation was managed by UK integrator Frappe partner OpenERP Works Ltd over an 18-month period.
