/

Transport Scotland has launched an open source active travel route analysis tool built on PostGIS and pgRouting, designed to help regional transport partnerships model cycling and walking network improvements. The tool ingests Ordnance Survey Open Roads data alongside local authority-supplied path datasets and outputs accessibility isochrones for use in funding bids. The codebase has been released publicly on the Scottish Government's GitHub organisation under an Open Government Licence.
