Blender Gains Traction in UK Architecture Firms as Visualisation Costs Rise

/

A survey by NBS has found that adoption of Blender for architectural visualisation among UK practices has risen by 34 percent year-on-year, as firms seek alternatives to Lumion and Enscape amid subscription price increases. Studios including Haworth Tompkins and Mikhail Riches have reportedly integrated Blender into their BIM-to-render pipelines using the BlenderBIM add-on. The trend reflects wider pressure on small and mid-sized practices to reduce software overhead without compromising presentation quality.
