Wolverhampton City Council Adopts OpenProject to Replace Microsoft Project Licences

Wolverhampton City Council has completed a full rollout of OpenProject, the open source project management platform, across its capital works and infrastructure teams. The move replaces a long-standing Microsoft Project deployment and is expected to save approximately £180,000 annually in licensing costs. The council's IT team worked with local integrator Swordfish Digital to customise workflows for its highways and regeneration departments.
