The QGIS project has released version 3.38, featuring significantly enhanced LiDAR point cloud processing tools that several UK Environment Agency teams are already trialling for fluvial flood risk modelling. The update integrates tightly with PDAL pipelines and improves performance on large OS Terrain 50 datasets.
