The UK chapter of OSGeo has launched a free online training programme targeting GIS officers in English district and unitary councils, covering deployment and administration of GeoServer for publishing open spatial data. The initiative is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and delivered in partnership with Astun Technology. Early cohorts from Suffolk County Council and Wiltshire Council have already completed the foundational module.
