OpenStreetMap UK has partnered with the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives to pilot a verified address and access-point dataset covering rural areas of Wales and northern England where AddressBase coverage is inconsistent. The dataset is being maintained through a combination of automated validation scripts and volunteer ground-truthing. Partnering fire and rescue services in North Yorkshire and Powys have begun integrating the data into their mobilisation systems.
