Speckle, the open source data platform for architecture, engineering and construction workflows, has closed a £9.2 million Series A round led by Backed VC. The funding will accelerate development of its IFC interoperability layer and expand its managed cloud offering for enterprise AEC firms. Arup and Buro Happold are among the named early adopters contributing to the project's open governance model.
