BlenderBIM, the open source IFC-native BIM authoring tool built on Blender, is seeing growing adoption among small and mid-sized UK construction contractors seeking to avoid Autodesk Revit licensing costs. Firms including Elliot Group and Stepnell have reportedly begun internal evaluations of the platform for structural and MEP modelling workflows.
