/

Engineering consultancy Arup has integrated IfcOpenShell into its internal compliance checking pipeline, enabling automated validation of IFC building models against UK Building Regulations Part B and Part M requirements. The toolchain, developed in collaboration with University College London's Bartlett School, reduces manual checking time by an estimated 60 percent on large residential schemes. Arup has released the compliance rule sets as open source under an Apache 2.0 licence.
