OpenStreetMap Foundation Launches UK Infrastructure Mapping Partnership with Ordnance Survey

The OpenStreetMap Foundation has announced a formal data-sharing partnership with Ordnance Survey aimed at improving the accuracy of infrastructure and utility mapping across Great Britain. The agreement will allow selective synchronisation of verified OS MasterMap features into the OSM database under an agreed open licence. Pilot areas include Greater Manchester and the Tay Valley, with a planned national rollout by Q3 2025.
