Norfolk County Council has reported first-year savings of £130,000 following the rollout of Odoo, the open source ERP platform, across its highways asset management and procurement functions. The implementation, delivered by UK partner Open Source Integrators, replaced a legacy Oracle-based system that had been in use for over a decade. Council CIO Alison Merrick described the project as a blueprint for other upper-tier authorities exploring open source ERP options.
