The QGIS project has released version 3.38, bringing significant improvements to 3D terrain rendering and expanded point cloud processing capabilities using PDAL integration. The update is already being evaluated by Ordnance Survey and several Scottish local authorities for integration into their spatial data workflows. OSGeo UK has published a migration guide for organisations currently running QGIS 3.34 LTR.
