Lambeth Council has completed a phased migration of its housing allocation register to OpenHousing, an open source housing management platform maintained by the LocalGov Digital cooperative. The move is expected to save the south London borough approximately £180,000 annually in vendor licensing fees. Council officers say the platform's open API has already enabled integration with the authority's existing Northgate revenues system.
