Greater Manchester Combined Authority has selected Apache Superset as the foundation for its new infrastructure performance dashboards, covering transport, housing delivery, and flood risk monitoring. The open source business intelligence tool will replace a Tableau deployment whose licence costs were flagged during a recent value-for-money review. The authority's data engineering team plans to publish its configuration and custom datasets on GitHub under an open government licence.
