/

The Planning Inspectorate has confirmed it will evaluate two open source digital planning tools — the RIPA Back-office Planning System and Open Digital Planning's PlanX — as part of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities digital planning reform programme. The assessment will focus on interoperability with the national Planning Data platform and suitability for handling nationally significant infrastructure project submissions. A procurement decision is expected by Q1 2025.
