QGIS 3.38 Adopted by Bristol City Council for Strategic Planning Work

/

Bristol City Council has migrated its spatial planning team to QGIS 3.38, replacing an aging Esri ArcGIS Desktop licence arrangement that cost the authority over £40,000 annually. The move follows a successful pilot with the council's development management team and is part of a wider digital transformation programme. OSGeo:UK provided transition support and training for 24 planning officers.
