Midlands-based contractor Stepnell has completed a 14-month migration to Odoo 17 Community Edition, replacing a combination of Sage 200 and spreadsheet-based project controls. The implementation, carried out by UK Odoo partner Braintec, covers purchase ledger, subcontractor management, plant hire tracking and job costing. Stepnell's finance director cited total cost of ownership savings of approximately 40 percent compared with the previous stack over a five-year horizon.
