The QGIS project has released version 3.38, introducing improved support for IFC file imports and tighter integration with OpenBIM workflows. The update allows planning teams to overlay building information models directly onto geospatial datasets. Bristol City Council and the Greater London Authority are among the early adopters testing the new capabilities for development management applications.
