Several NHS trusts in England, including Leeds Teaching Hospitals and University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, are reported to be evaluating or actively deploying Nextcloud Hub as a self-hosted alternative to Microsoft SharePoint and Teams. The trend is driven by data sovereignty concerns and rising Microsoft 365 licensing costs under NHS frameworks. Open source consultancy Prolinx is understood to be supporting multiple deployments alongside integration with existing NHSmail infrastructure.
